Fry Farm Vicky has listed Onions on the Special this week. There are no individual veggies listed. Vicky’s grandson has had a significant medical condition come to light and I ask for prayers for Lawson and his family. They will list their offerings as they become available!

Ground Beef and other Beef items are back on the Market this week. In addition, Turkey products are being offered. Turkey Bologna is being made and we will have it soon! Cereal will also be back!
Don’t forget your Bakery goodies! My Daily Bread offerings include all types of Organic Bakery products. In addition, Dabrielle makes some dynamite Cheese Spreads and Dips! For the Gluten Free crowd, No Gluten Inc. has you covered with Breads, Cakes, Cheesecakes, Cookies, Rolls, Snack Bars, Bakery Mixes and Sweet Breads! Be sure and check out our Bakers! Just like our Growers, our Bakers are truly the ‘cream of the crop’!
Nectarines and Plums
Watsonia Farms does have both Nectarines and Plums available this week at Market pickup! Look for them on the Farmers’ Sales Table. Their fruits this year are sweet, juicy and delicious! Get there early! These will not last long!

Foothills Market: Beans, Beans, Beans!
As the spring products disappear from the market listing, we are beginning to be overwhelmed with green beans! We’re pleased to offer four different varieties of green beans (well, technically one is yellow…), including the slender filet beans and the Italian flat pod beans. And of course, we have the traditional Blue Lake green beans.
We’ve posted several recipes using green beans, if you’re looking for some ideas. Also, if you want to save some of this fresh summer taste for winter, contact us about getting larger quantities at a discount for canning or freezing.
We also have limited amounts of okra – but there’s plenty of beautiful Swiss chard!
The market will be open from noon today until 10 p.m. Tuesday for pick-up at the farmers’ market Wednesday evening between 5-6:30.
Eat something fresh this week!
Green Fork Farmers Market: Weekly product list
Dear Green Fork Farmers Market Customers:
NEW this week:
Foundation farm has green heirloom cabbage available. Goes great with potatoes and beef brats, all available at the market. This dense cabbage is also perfect for making your own lacto-fermented sauerkraut at home. Check this out to see how easy it is to do it yourself: http://www.culturesforhealth.com/learn/recipe/natural-fermentation/sauerkraut/
It’s so delicious, you will be amazed. Lacto-fermentation produces super-nutritious food, and you can try it with lots of other veggies too! Right now, beans and squash come to mind while they are in abundance.
Green Fork Farm also has cucumbers available this week, a sweet, light-skinned heirloom variety.
Beyond Organics and Green Fork Farm have a bunch of squash this week, several different kinds to try.
We also have some new, lower prices on many products, so make sure you take a look at everything this week!

Fisher's Produce: Sweet Corn is here!!
Hello Friends,
We are going to start sweet corn harvest on Tuesday morning. The early crop is looking good!
20.00 for a 60 ear bushel here at the farm or 5.00 for 1 dozen.
Local sweet corn in Tulsa is usually sold for around 24.00 for a 50 ear bushel. We will give you a better deal than that! and ours is non-GMO and insecticide free. Of course this means that there will be a bit of worm damage at the end of the cob.. Just chop it off before shucking or grilling.
We are growing the same variety that we have grown for the last several years. Providence, a nice big bicolor Triple Sweet variety with natural genetics.
We will be in Bristow at the Tractor Supply parking lot on Thursday evenings from 5:00 to 6:30 for the next three weeks. We will be bringing all of the sweet corn that we can along with tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, and squash, and whatever other garden veggies we can find in the garden.
Blessings,
Luke
Princeton Farm Fresh: The Market is Open
Another day here on the farm, as we have been up since the dawn and out working the veggies. Right now it is the only time to get things done. I don’t know if it is my aging body or just hotter this summer, but I need to get inside as it heats up for the day. We are back to fighting the deer for our beans and the bugs for everything else. Of course we don’t spray, so we spend many hours a week just hand picking bugs to give to our chickens, who think they are tasty.
Don’t forget to stop by the Traditional Farmers Market on Thursday from 4-7pm and shop from your very own LOCAL FARMERS.
See you on Friday,
Angela
